Top 100 Gardening Sites
Still feeling appreciative about being noticed as a Blog of Note, I just noticed that my rating in the Top 100 Gardening Sites has jumped up pretty high- to #6. I am sure this is attributed to the big bump from Blogger traffic.
To those of you who come and fins something of interest great. I will keep plugging away talking about the great outdoors and the designed spaces that we live in, or want to live in. I hope you come back. Questions-shoot me an e-mail as it seems most questions come to me this way, or feel free to leave a comment.

Hello Rick,
I'm not a landscaper, but I visited your blog because you were a Blog Of Note, the name "Whispering Crane" intrigued me (it sounded Daoist and serene), I love gardens (especially Chinese and Japanese) and I love beauty and you have much of both.
One gets the impression you love what you do. :-)
I'm enjoying your blog very much. Thank you for sharing your expertise and experience.
Michelle
You're #4 this morning!
I wonder how they get their rankings? I'm not on their radar at all.
Well, just answered my own question.
It's a counter service. I added my blog site and added their code to the footer on my template. We'll see what happens!
xris or Rick,
I sure wouldn't mind knowing how to do that with the counter service stuff and get on the radar. Care to share?

Yeah, you definitely have to have that counter on your page to be ranked on their top 100. I just find it kind of interesting to see that number go up and down and up!
I actually slipped up into #3 at the moment. Gotta be from the Blogger bump. Michelle click on my counter go to the site and register, then download the counter for your site.
Hey Xris how's life in NY? Tomorrow should be an interesting day for New Yorkers.
Oh Michelle, I do love what I do, sometimes I can't believe people actually pay me!!!
Hi Rick,
When people pay you to do what you love, that makes life just about perfect!
I do love the drawings and photos you include. Most of them take my breath away. When a photo does that, the real thing must be just awesome....you are Very Talented.
Thanks for the tip on the counter. I will sign up for that. :-)
You deserve it.
Well, you know Rick, clients often do funny things. I was an interior designer for many years, and I could tell you some war stories.
The best part in the photos is the stone seats, and recycled, too. Very nice.
Thanks for the kind words gang. I'll save you a seat around the fire.
