Love, Love , Love the quotes...especially Mark Twain's quote...I invite you to check out my qual-quotes blog if you have passion for the quotable quotes...Later!
Well as a gardener you should know the old Chinese proverb (that I recently posted on my own blog):
"If you want to be happy for a week, get married. If you want to be happy for a month, kill your pig. If you want to be happy for life, plant a garden."
You really should add this to your string of quotes!
Beautiful blog, Rick. Your drawings, design and gardens are absolutely gorgeous.
very cool pic
i am an italian man and your pics are great.

see you
Thanks Teri, I will.
Anon, always love a good garden quote-especially with some good thought behind it. It'll be on here some day.
Skan and Jozee thanks for the kind words.
I just found your blog. I like the part in About Me that says you do not cut grass... My sister is a landscape architect and she always has people ask her to help design their yard, she tells them if you want me to put in a fountain and a concrete retaining wall around your water retention pond and spend more than you make a year doing it fine, otherwise get a good garden book and a shovel. She's bossy that way and we love her. However, all our (family) yards look like do-it-yourself projects - and so does hers.
It's they're not their.
...pass it on to Leonardo.
Tera; nice story thanks for sharing, there are many like that in this profession. I often say I can't afford myself.
Ah, thanks anon, anon.
